A Brand New Way to Play

Tiger Bay Area Amateur Tour (BAAT) is a handicapped pool tournament open to all women except the top 16 WPBA pros. There are 6 tour stops in 2012 in various cities throughout Florida's Tampa Bay area and beyond. The format is 8-ball and 9-ball combined (similar to the U.S. Amateur Championship) featuring Texas Express 9-ball and call-pocket 8-ball rules. The match race will be based on each player's predetermined handicap.

Each tournament will have money added and will feature raffles and prizes. The first person out of the tournament always gets a prize, and each player who finishes "one out of the money" will also go home with a gift. Plus, there's no dress code! Just wear what makes you feel comfortable at the table.

Sign-up time for each event is from 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and start time is at noon. The annual membership is $40 and each individual regular-season tournament fee is $40, with a portion of both going towards the Grand Finale tournament and year-end prizes. If you aren't sure about joining the tour, you can pay a one-time fee of $25. A second $25 fee will give you a year's membership.

The Grand Finale entry fee is based on regular-season tournament participation as follows:
Play in 5 regular-season events:   $20
Play in 4 regular-season events:   $45
Play in 3 regular-season events:   $60
Play in 2 regular-season events:   $75
Play in 1 regular-season event:     $90
Play in 0 regular-season events:   $120

If you love pool and enjoy fierce competition, come join the many women who have already discovered "a brand new way to play!" Players of all skill levels are welcome.
